Cap Lamp : Bright, long lasting Krypton/Halogen
bulbs used. Is tough, safer, more economical in the
long run. Needs fewer, long-enduring spares, lower maintenance.
Has high safety features. Gives greater satisfaction
to users, lamp cabin men, and the mining industry at
large.
Centre Take-Off Cover : The cover is
made of deep drawn stainless steel. The cable does not
protrude off the edge, offering better protection at
the vulnerable outlet end. The battery top spares are
fewer.
Integral Belt Loop: This lamp has
one less spare to bother about. Belt loops need not
be replaced with every new battery, making it more economical
in the long run. The integral belt loops are broader
and more comfortable.
Lamp Power : A lamp with extra power
will endure abuse with less maintenance. The drop in
illumination level at the end of the shift will be less.
The lamp will have a longer life.
Life: The improved design of the positive
plate, the negative plate, the microporous envelope
for the
negative plate, the highly absorbent poly-pad separator
and the topping up-cum-venting system
extend the life of the battery by atleast six months.
