Rugged Tubular Positive Plates
The Tubular Gauntlet plate construction consists of special lead alloy spines in complete contact with superior active material, effectively retained in multi-tube woven Gauntlet of high tensile acid-resistant polyester. The polyester 'Gauntlet' which is resin impregnated, combines high tensile strength with resilience and enables the electrolyte to penetrate freely whilst acting as an effective retainer for the highly active material. It is also capable of withstanding the extreme stresses of expansion and contraction of the active material during regular charge/discharge encountered in service life..

Heavy Duty Terminals
Where high rate discharge is needed, the generous cross-section of the terminals, provide maximum current.9 The terminals being made of antimonial lead are suitable for bolted connections to facilitate easy installation at site.
Low Resistance Bolted connectors
Bolted inter-cell connectors ensure easy installation and are made from lead alloy or lead plated copper of generouscross-section for high current duties. All nuts, bolts and washers are lead plated for protection against corrosion and sulphation.

Microporous Ceramic Vent Plugs

Envelope Separators(PE)
High porosity polyethylene envelope separators form permanent insulating diaphragms between the plates and by virtue of their high porosity, low electrical resistance and excellent oxidation resistance serve as perfect separation medium.Envelope separators also eleminate the possibility of
side shorts.

Pasted Negative Plates
The pasted negative plates are designed to match the power and long life of the Tubular positive plates. The negative active material contains proprietary additives and special expanders for long life and peak power. It is retained firmly in place by sturdy grids designed to lock it in .
Electrolyte Level Indicator
Cells are fitted with robust easy-to-read electrolyte level indicator floats enclosed in transparent tube covers.

Wide Range
Six (6) Plate sizes i.e. TB, TV, TM, TL, TH and TTH types cater to a wide capacity range from 20 AH to 5000 AH.
Container
Hard rubber or polypropelene cell boxes conforming to the requirements of IS : 1146 are used for the 20 to 2500 AH range whilst containers are available in FRP for 3000 to 5000AH range. All are closed type cells having lids sealed with bituminous sealing compound.
